Current Status and Volunteer Needs

All the internal framing is done. Currently we are working on the electrical and plumbing. The HVAC comes August 24th. Our House is working on the wrap around porch. We are hoping to build the small room above the wrap around porch next week so it can be fitted for HVAC and electricity.

The shingles will be on in a week or two (waiting to hear about roofer's schedule). Our goal is to get rain gutters on as soon as possible after the shingles since the water is all going to our foundation. After we get the electrical, mechanical, and framing inspection, we will be ready for insulation and drywall.

We still need grading in the back and side of the house since all the work moved the dirt and now ater is coming to our foundation.

Anyone who can help with any of this is welcome anytime and it would be much appreciated! We need a bobcat for the grading and somebody who knows how to use it to grade. Anyone with carpentry skills can help build the small room above the deck.

We also have a need for window installers if anyone wants to donate some time. We have a bay window that needs installing and five other windows. The remaining windows have been installed but need to be airtight and ready for drywall as they were just roughly installed.
